Product Description

A humorous debut novel from this actor-turned-author about an American evangelist who comes to the quiet English village of Chipping Carbury in his attempt to win English converts, but the villagers are rather less malleable than appearances might suggest.

Comic escape into a small village in the UK 9 Dec 2008
By S. Al-Amri - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This is an hilarious tale of life in a small village in the UK. It is well written and even the most eccentric characters are believable. Needing money the Marquis sells his home to an American evangelist and the scenes of C of E church-goers interacting with the evangelist are some of the funniest in the book. Fabulous book to read on a journey or other place where you have to be patient - would make you not mind waiting and waiting.
