Bugs Gets His Oscar and Sam Gets His Eternal Reward! 1 July 2000
By W. Langan - Published on Amazon.com
This movie starts with the Oscar-winning "Knighty Knight Bugs". In it, Bugs must fight the Black Knight (Yosemite Sam, of course) in order to gain possession of the Singing Sword. Best line: "You crazy idgit dragon!" As Bugs says in the introduction: "[This cartoon] won Friz Freleng an Oscar and me a carrot!". Part 1 features Yosemite Sam in "the other place" where the devil agrees to let Sam escape as long as he brings Bugs with him. But with all the trouble it is to catch that rabbit, it doesn't take long before Sam wonders if it's all worth it. Part 2 features dim-witted gangsters Rocky and Mugsy in "The Unmentionables". Part 3 features one of Friz Freleng's best cartoons ever- "The 3 Little Bops"- a swing rendition of the Three Little Pigs (featuring Stan Freberg on vocals and music by Shortry Long).

What a talent Friz Freleng was (1905-95)!

This is the second of three movies starring "little ol' me". 1 May 2000
By Kacy Shelley - Published on Amazon.com
This is a great movie, even though it's clips from WB cartoons mived with new animation by Friz Freleng. It begins with a showing of Freleng's 1958 award winner "Knighty Knight Bugs", and then shows the following acts:

"Satan's Waitin'": Yosemite Sam lands in Hell after Bugs foils his attempt to court widow Emma. The devil gives Sam three chances to capture Bugs as a replacement.

"The Unmentionables": Bugs parodies FBI agent Elliot Ness, but trouble (and looniness) insures when he tangles with Rocky's gang of thugs.

"The Oswald Awards": Bugs hosts an awards night parody, nominating the Big Bad Wolf of "Three Little Bops" (1957), Sylvester and Tweety, and (!) himself. He wins, much to Daffy Duck's anger.

This is very funny 8 Feb 2002
By "ebynoe" - Published on Amazon.com
This is second only to "The Bugs Bunny-Road Runner Movie" in terms of my favorite Bugs Bunny videos. It's a three parter (!) starting with "Satan's Waitin'" where Yosemite Sam tries to deliver Bugs to the devil in his place which we see through several cartoon shorts featuring the pair. Next comes "The Unmentionables" with Bugs playing Elliot Ness, er that is Elegant Mess battling against Rocky and his dimwitted gang. Next comes the cartoon oscars, featuring the classic "Three Little Bops" short and many more. The interludes are funny, and so are the shorts, although as always, they have been edited. A must have for any Looney Tunes fan.
