5.0 out of 5 stars A reminder of the hard seventies 23 Mar 2013
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I live in Sheffield, I was born in Sept 1961, and I used to work in Sheffield Careers Office, and I know how hard it was to find work at that time. It was a different world altogether, with the South not suffering as high employment as Sheffield, and computers only just starting to come in! It is a very gritty stark film in black and white, but as with all of Barry Hines's books and films, they are practical and disturbing. I think the message is very clear, but it is a compelling film, and I enjoyed it!

2.0 out of 5 stars About Unemployed Kids 14 Dec 2012
By Interview - Published on
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This is like a documentary about teens in England who don't have jobs. It's long and uninteresting. Save your money.
