Product Description

When Noah McDermott, owner of McDermott Construction, walks out into the bright morning sunshine, the last thing he expects is to get run over by a careless woman in a yellow Mercedes. His anger quickly fades into curiosity when the driver turns out to have endless legs and bottomless brown eyes.

Avery Price, daughter of a publishing millionaire, should have followed her instinct and kept driving instead of stopping at a dot on the map. But Trouble, Wyoming is growing on her and she needs a job – fast.

Lately, Noah’s been going through office managers like people go through sticks of gum. He needs someone with a tough backbone to get his office organized. However, he did not want that someone to be the same woman who left her bumper imprint on his backside. As the two of them work together day after day, the sparks fly. Surely they can be professional and keep from acting on their attraction toward one another. As they spend more time together, Noah starts to get the feeling Avery isn’t who she says she is. Is she just a girl looking for a change or is there more going on than she’s telling him?

Avery quickly adapts to her new life in the picturesque town of Trouble. She has a job for the first time in her life and a boss who turns her on more than her ex-fiance ever did. But did she make the right choice by leaving home or is she falling deeper into trouble?

One for the girls! 25 Jan 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
'Looking for trouble' is what I would term 'Chick-lit' and not a genre that I usually read (not that there is anything wrong with it, it just isn't my cup of tea) however, this book is a bit more than that.

The main protagonist, Avery, is a very strong, independant woman and is well-rounded as a character. The story follows her break-up with her ex, the 'strained' relationship with her parents and her search for something more.

In places, Looking for trouble is amusing, sad and true to life. It was easy to read and easy to fall in with the characters and their everyday trials and tribulations.

Some of the descriptive writing is very good and I found myself smiling in more than a few places.

This books is definintely one for the girls, I am sure it will be a big hit in its genre! It is heart-warming, romantic, a little racy and funny. Every thing a girl could want from this kind of book.

I wish Erin every success with it.

Looking for Trouble 24 Jun 2011
By Bunny TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
In a motel car park Avery Price manages to reverse her car and knock down a man. Once she's established that he's okay apart from a crushed mobile phone, she agrees to his request and drives him to his car. Later in the day Avery realises there is a wallet in her car and it belongs to Noah McDermott who owns a construction company. Avery is trying to live frugaly as she's moved out of the control of her wealthy parents and is set on making her own way in the world. She visits Noah at work and tries to bribe him to give her a job if she gives him is wallet back. Noah gradually falls in love with Avery and there is some depth to this book with Noah's family issues as well as Avery's wannabe husband to be, dominating parents and a best friend who is behaving strangely. Does everything work out for Avery, Noah, Landon (Avery's sweet brother) and Gertrude (best friend)? You'll have to read and judge for yourself.

Just awful
Appallingly written, full of typos, totally unbelievable characters and plot. I couldn't finish it, life is too short. Do not understand the good reviews. At least it was cheap!
