Amazon.co.uk Review

This cute, 1989 comedy directed by Amy Heckerling (Fast Times at Ridgemont High) helped keep John Travolta busy during some fallow years and extended America's then-love affair with Bruce Willis, whose voice is the only part of him that appears. Kirstie Alley costars as an unwed mother in search of a suitable man to become her baby's father. Travolta is a cab driver who doesn't match her ideal, but he gets involved anyway. Half the fun comes from Willis's risible reading of the newborn's thoughts. Look Who's Talking was followed by two lesser sequels, Look Who's Talking Too and Look Who's Talking Now. --Tom Keogh

5.0 out of 5 stars i love the look who's talking movies!, 6 Feb 2007

I really love this film, and its sequels, they make me laugh each time i watch them, and they always cheer me up. John Travolta and Kirstie Alley are amazing together and are a really joy to watch. Get all three of the films (although the third one is aimed at perhaps a younger audience) for a night in on your own. the laughter, the tears(well... ish!) and the joy! Happy viewing everyone! Oh yes, this is more aimed at us females!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, Excellent, Watchable time and time again, 17 April 2001
By A Customer
John Travolta and Kirsty Alley are excellent in this film. Kirsty Alley falls Pregnant and the film focuses on the life of her son, Mikey(voice by Bruce Willis). The combination of these three actors means that the film keeps you smiling all the way through. Watch this film or you won't know what you are missing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wait for milk time !, 11 May 2007
By Jay "The Amazon Reviewer" (Mauritius) - See all my reviews
(TOP 500 REVIEWER)
Smart little comedy that expresses what a young baby is thinking (voiced by Bruce Willis) throughout its running time. Likeable performances from Kirstie Alley, John Travolta, George Segal and Olympia Dukakis add to the sometimes mediocre screenplay and unsteady direction. The clever idea though, which is very original, carries the film and makes it a funny and entertaining experience.
