An excellent and unusual album,

Some unusual and really different music from multi-instrumentalists Chrissy Quayle and Russell Roberts plus assorted guest musicians. What makes this album is the strange instruments played, (guiro, cajon, Chinese flute etc), and also (one of each) traditional Turkish and Serbian songs which add a distinctive flavour to the all-round laid-back aura of the album.
Well worth buying, in the first instance, for the fabulous and unusual music, secondly (and a pity it's not illustrated), the album sleeve of some rather unusual walking stick designs, and if you're a Motorhead / Fastway fan, Fast Eddie Clarke plays an exquisite guitar solo somewhat akin the style of the great Carlos Santana on 'I've Had Enough Of The Funny Stuff.' Indeed, fabulously original and different music, and the lord knows we need it in allaying the drivel we are force-fed by radio and TV these days. Absolutely disgraceful that it's here with copies up for grabs at a penny each, but it gives you no excuse, does it; but to buy one and be the owner of a fantastically unique album.
