It's a good Pronunciaton book. It's uesful to prepare English teaching materials. However, I found out two weaknesses in this dictionary at the moment:
1) The sounds of the English Language IPA symbols (alphabets) should've been included in the CD.
2) One of the issues which upsets me every time I visit the English Pronuniciation books is when the authors of such kind of books try to simplify by modifying or replacing the true and standard IPA symbols with different symbols. This leads us to confusion instead of making a smooth teaching learning process of English pronunciation.
According to the above reasons, we must be able to focus on the sounds of the English Language IPA Symbols as one of the first steps of teaching/learning process; to use only the standard English Language IPA symbols instead of replacing them with different symbols.
And this helps students understand and use the sounds properly and correctly at the early stage.
