You don't need to be a serious Elvis Fan to sit and enjoy a Man and His music performing great songs with passion and an understanding of how to make the most of a studio session. It's not surprising why so many people enjoy listening to Elvis - he can sing and understands a melody. These are great songs performed here including magical takes of Guitar Man - Too Much Monkey Business - I'm Yours - You'll The Devil In disguise and a slow version of Stay Away which sounds very much like the tune "Greensleeves".
As always Elvis is in great form his voice is brilliant and the banter between him and the band is fun to listen too, together with his sense of humor. It's a great pity no one ever thought to video these sessions. But if you can't see him at least you can enjoy a great CD from a Man who sought perfection and found excellence.

This is an excellent CD, full of alternate takes, recorded in Nashville during the 60s.

The standout is the excellent 'Too Much Monkey Business' which is different to the original. An alternate of 'Fools Fall in Love' tops the master, plus a rare alternate of 'Its Now or Never' highlights a great CD.

I love to hear out-takes from Elvis's studio recordings and with 18 out of the 22 tracks on this album being previously unreleased, this is a MUST addition to any fans collection. The sound quality is superb and there are some fantastic studio chat featured as well as classic Elvis recordings including "It's Now Or Never", before you do anything else buy this great album.
