5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehesive, well laid out, and well written 11 Sep 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This guide has been invaluable in planning a visit to South Island, a country we have never visited before and where we have no connections. It can be warmly commended for anyone wishing to learn a lot of practical and useful information before (and during) a visit to New Zealand.

I chose this book as I wanted as much information as possible on each individual island.

We are going on a three week tour and this book has enabled me to write and plan a wonderful itinerary.

It is well written, informative, tips on car hire, bus routes and local airports are included. Lots of dining options and motels etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for coming fly drive holiday 28 Feb 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Nice to be able to store travel books electronically to cut down on weight. Reading on Kindle Fire, easy to read and search sections for relevant information. Up to date information, my hard copies being out of date. Did purchase at offer price.
