2.0 out of 5 stars doesn't sit well without the rest of the book 24 Sep 2013

as a chapter of the book on a kindle I found this quite dissatisfying. The section on sayings/ foods was a pdf so you couldn't increase the size of the font and it was unreadable. Some things I would have like to know were probably in the start of the book. I generally like Lonely planet guides but felt there was something missing. I also find it quite difficult to find information on a kindle and had to keep starting at the front of the book and flickling through the pages- maybe a better index would have overcome this. Seemed to be dominated by who the authors of the book were and less information on the islands themselved.

3.0 out of 5 stars Useful but lacks depth on Tobago 6 Feb 2013

Ok for a starter but misses many of the best things in Tobago e.g. Take an umbrella as priority! Detail on trails and forest might help too.

Hopefully useful for our forthcoming trip and not having to download the whole book is great when only going to one island

Not easy to read or use on my Kindle. I was disappointed that the features I love about Lonely Planet didn't translate that well in their e-book edition.
