Not as good as some of the other guides in the series, which may have something to do with the fact that the islands of the great barrier reef are not for your average backpacker. it does help to find which ones are, and as usual has all the essential information that makes these guides indespensible. We planned a trip to Hook island with it and it was great!

Could be good but it's discontinued,

This guide is usefull if you're devoting lot of time to queesland and the great barrier reef. Its best companion is the Lonely Planet Queensland guide (perhaps it's too much information).
But as I'm concerned, Lonely Planet is not doing anymore this guide (and this version is quite old, so it may be not updated). What a pitty!... |
