I absolutely loved this collection of dark, disturbing short stories. They are varied and superbly crafted tales ranging from the gory zombie story 'A taste of your medicine' to the thought provoking tale of addiction and recovery 'The Round Window'.

I will be watching for further titles from this new author.

Absolutely loved this book - kept me up all night, as I could not put it down. This is so well written with twists and turns of so many frightening kinds. Gledson ploughs through the horrors of the human dark side like no other. She is the mistress of todays horror writers. Want some more please!! Will look forward to the novel - Bluebells for my Baby next year. Great stuff!!

This book left me feeling unnerved but moved. Every word held my attention so I had to read on. Powerful, gruesome, terrifying and extraordinarily written, Gledson really does know how to tap into the human mind with her unique way of empathic writing.

You won't be disappointed.
