"Lonely Grill" is Lonestar's 3rd album (I think) released in 1999/2000. This is the first Lonestar album that I bought and this is what got me into their music. I first heard of Lonestar when I saw the video for the single "Amazed" on T.V. I loved it, so I bought the single. Then I saw this album. Wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it since I'd only heard 1 of their songs, but I did - and I wasn't disappointed. A further improvement on their last 2 albums, this has 11 standard tracks for fans of both upbeat and ballad country music. Upbeat fans will prefer songs like "Simple As That" and "Don't Let's Talk About Lisa". Ballad fans should go for tracks like "Tell Her", "Smile", "I've Gotta Find You" and "Amazed" (which is one of Lonestar's best songs to date). However, a lot of the tracks will generally appeal to everyone. Richie McDonald takes over full vocal control for this album, while the other vocalist John Rich is nowhere to be found. Overall, this is a must buy Lonestar album - get it in!!!
