Wow. Series 1-7 is absolutely great - just as I remembered it from the TV. Super fire scenes, super stars, super acting, and can't wait to see Series 8. Brilliant.

I've been searching for the complete box set of London's Burning for while sometime now, and stumbled across this complete set on DVD. It's a great find a real blast from the past and a fantastic buy if your a fan.
Plus it was a real bargin the only other complete set was over £100.

What a superb series this is. I have ordered the next series 8 - 14 discs and can't wait to watch them to. Only comment is that my husband said he would divorce me if I was anything like awful gaggle of wives!

I was very excited to see the boxset on offer, and was so disappointed upon watching it. The episodes are very dated, and although it was good in it's time, it hasn't stood the test of time. The story lines are cringe worthy with their sexist and racist remarks, which detracts from the fires and action.
I doubt if they will be re-appearing on the TV due to their racist/sexist remarks and undertones.
Very disappointing to watch. Got so bored I started watching in fast forward.
Gave it two stars for some of the fire fighting scenes.
