I echo the voice of a reader of the previous edition of this 'guide' - "how was this published".
I was hoping for a guide to some hidden secrets in London, perhaps pointing me at interesting places to visit or things to see. Instead, I got a copy of some internet chat forum in the form of a book.
If you are looking for a useful book about London - avoid this one!

Whether you are a born and bred Londoner or a new arrival LondonbyLondon is as essential to have as an A-to-Z or your Oyster card. I have been here for years and the book has shed light on a whole new range of aspects that London has to offer.
Sure, there are a few rants but the majority of the contents will be useful at one time or another. Whether you are alone and need a bit of inspiration to fill an afternoon, or you have friends coming in for the weekend and you need interesting things to do on a shoestring. There are real gold nuggets here.

Um, what are you on about? This book had me laughing out loud for weeks on end - and it has loads of great tips. Yes, not a travel guide, and not for tourists, but a so very funny look at London life from people who actually live there.
