4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent guide to happy drinking in the capital, 4 Sep 2001
This review is from: London Pub Guide: CAMRA's Guide to Real Ale Pubs in London (Paperback)
I picked up a copy of this at the Great British Beer guide. I'm really pleased that CAMRA have cottoned on to the fact that women are increasingly seeing real ale as their drink of choice and given the task of writing their guide to a woman. Lynne's style of writing is marvellous - she comes across as very warm and witty and the guide is written with obvious affection for the subject. Good choice and range of pubs - there's surely something for everybody. Highly recommended, even if you don't class yourself as a real ale fan.
