4.0 out of 5 stars London at a glence 14 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
This seems to be (I have not taken the trip to London yet) a well laid out atlas, easy to carry in a pocket. It could be helpful if it had a listing for "must see" places and other points of interest. There is a comprehensive street index which is useful IF you have a street address. Using the atlas along with the internet, I have been able to lay out public transportation for the trips to places of interest from my lodging. I consider the Collins Pocket Atlas London a good investment to insure a good visit without the stresses associated with traveling in a never before visited place

5.0 out of 5 stars The one locals rely on 1 Dec 2012
By girlfriendinacoma-london - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Everyone's heard of the A to Z, which serves its purpose, but it is quite bulky and heavy to carry around. After about three weeks into what would become a seven year stint in London, someone turned me onto the Collins Pocket Guide. It's compact and does a great job of legibly denoting all those tiny closes and news you might need to find deliberately or to get back on your chosen path. Great for focused trips and for just getting lost and found again.
