Now my elder daughter is old enough to explore London on her own, I am encouraging her to share my enthusiasm for this very valuable description of the city's highways and byways, with great pictures.

Combines images of familiar scenes with others of the more extraordinary parts of this great city. The beautiful photography is enhanced by the skillful telling of the history of London.

I received this book for Christmas and couldn't recommend it more highly!
