5.0 out of 5 stars London, as it really is 23 Sep 1999
By A Customer
This book has fantastic photos of London. This is London as Londoners see the town. The quality of the photos is superb..."like 'real' photos". I would recommend it to anyone (particularly visitors to the city) who want to keep a souvenir of how London really is, or as a present to family or friends showing them what a beautiful city London is.

5.0 out of 5 stars A London Beauty 24 July 2001
Another G Hobermam beauty. This hard cover book containing London photographs is a must for anyone who lives here. As big and as detailed as London is, no other book captures the everyday life of one of the most vibrant cities in the world. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! 19 Mar 2001
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
What a beautiful book. I was given this as a present for my birthday and I love it. It has pages of photo-quality pictures which take you right to the streets of London. Its a great book if your planning a trip to England this summer-the pictures inspire you to stroll London's streets. The author has captured the magic of London in all its diversity. A wonderful gift for you or someone you love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Al Kovalick 10 Sep 2002
By AVITguy - Published on Amazon.com
I am about to purchase this book. I saw the HARDBOUND version in a book store and was very impressed. The paperback version is only 36 pages so I imagine it can't be of the same quality. Each of the pictures in the HB version appears as an actual photo -- glossy with bright colors. I compared this to "London from the air" by Hawkes and that book is very well done. However, this book has a good mix of close ups, land-based shots and shots from the air. I just spent 9 months in London and this book will be our "coffee table" memory of the trip.
