A great album..... 20 Sep 2003
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
London is Sinking is a concept album based around the river Thames, but if you associate the words concept and album with pompous prog-rock albums of the 70's, fear not, because the theme is fairly loosely used, and essentially ties together the album neatly. From the opening, monotonous but effective London Aquarium to the brilliantly ominous Oil, via songs such as Tomorrow Morning, which will make even the steeliest heart melt, Chris TT has made an album full of songs that are in turn thought provoking and witty. While, some of chris' songs are melodically similar, they are arranged so beautifully it doesn't matter.
Highly recommended.

An Album of Class 12 May 2004
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I don't buy many albums these days but the reviews in the press made me look it up . . . and it was so worth the effort! I have listened to it more than most of the other CD's I own of late and it does honestly get better. I would have thought that there were a number of 'hits' on here - haven't heard any of them on the radio yet.

Who does Chris T-T sound like? Not sure - perhaps a Billy Bragg crossed with Robert Smith, but less angry and happier!

Lyrics are intelligent, irreverent and witty. Music is beautiful. A wonderful album I can't recommend enough.

How come....? 10 July 2011
Format:Audio CD
I am 53, I love music, I buy a lot of CD's of many genres, I read music magazines, I search the internet for music and yet, I have only just discovered Chris T-T....this isn't right! Surely he should be a household name. Great lyrics, witty & telling, personal, forthright....little nuggets of goodness combined with great tunes. I may be biased, I love quintessential British songs about love, life & all that, with a dash of politics for good measure, but surely he deserves a much wider audience? He puts me in mind of Robyn Hitchcock (you might like to listen to 'I often Dream of Trains') & that's no bad thing. It's always a joy to come across an artist you really enjoy listening to, someone who appears out of the woodwork quite by chance, I guess that's one of the biggest thrills of music. I'll certainly be buying more of his albums and giving them a listen, great life affirming stuff!
