London made simple..., 20 May 2004

This is exactly what it says on the tin, or in this case - the map. It's perfect for finding your way round the more central areas of London. It's helpfully colour coded so you can easily find what you're looking for, and the main attractions are additionally labeled.
On the reverse, there is a guide to some of the more popular places to see and visit, with a brief description of each of them, as well as some of the more basic "need to know" items for your average tourist.
You can't fault this map for its attention to detail, but in my opinion, the detail is also its only downfall. As a tourist I would be happy to use this map at my hotel, to help plan my day, but I would be reluctant to use it on the street. It's much too big when folded out, and draws attention to the fact you are a tourist. I believe this would work a lot better in a book format.
For content, I have not found a map which has as much useful information set out in such a user friendly way, but I would suggest using it in conjunction with a smaller, street friendly guide book or map.
Overall though - I'd consider this money well spent.

This little gem was Excellent and is cram packed with all the tourist attractions, it is simple to use and understand and even has a little tube map. This is all you will need when you visit the Capitol.
