London in 2012: Frommer's Express Kindle Exclusive [Kindle Edition]

I have Olympic tickets and will be a regular day-tripper to London during the event. I was very keen to get something that would work on my Kindle. As I've never purchased a travel guide on my Kindle - I really wasn't sure what to expect...it turns out that my initial doubts were soon to be discarded when I road tested this at the weekend. It's a great guide that really took me to along the beaten paths of London with ease and I never once had to ask directions (which I normally have to do!). For the price and portability I felt that I had made the right purchase and I will most certainly be using it in July and the next year. I have also recommended to friends. Worth every penny!

I was looking for a clear guide to everything that's going on in London this summer. Jubilee, Olympic games, cultural Olympiad etc and this book has been really useful. I'm getting quite excited about the Jubilee and now i feel pretty clued up - thanks to this guide i'm confident i'll see the best bits. The advice on how to see the Olympics without a ticket is really useful plus other info on how/where to soak up the olympic spirit. There's also a bunch of good suggestions for eating out or where to find the best coffee. I know London pretty well and the suggestions i'm familiar with are totally spot on - so i'm keen to check out the ones that are new to me. Nice book.

This is a great little guide. I was lucky to download whilst it was on offer. I'm interested purely as a guide to London with no connection to the Olympic Games or the Jubilee and this satisfy's this purpose well.

It's very good, although I would have preferred it in book format rather than on my Kindle, although it navigates reasonably well on the Kindle and I'd presume even better on an iPad or the like.
