Fisheye Compact Camera Black

Always looking for new visual kicks for hungry eyes, the Lomographic society chose a new special approach: the fisheye - the way goldfish and lomographs see and live the world.

They are restless, wild and always on the go.
They swim close to the object of affection.
They love the wild life, parties and rock 'n roll.
They love all living things, which is why they are loved back (they are cute, amusing, pleasant and entertaining creatures).
Last but not least they are good, loyal, tolerant, honest and helpful creatures!

Sensational wide angle shots of wild people and animals, bars, ball rooms, bathrooms, cities, states and other private locations. The fisheye captures an unbelievable 170 degree field of view! Fish for fresh angles and picture details, as round as a fish bowl!

Lomography Fisheye compact camera for standard 35mm film.
Package includes a fisheye camera with flash, a manual in 8 languages and a unique fisheye booklet

This lomography society camera is amazing fun, and will produce amazing images only limited by your own creativity. However, it is incredibly cheaply made, and clearly mass produced in china for pennies, then sold for a ridiculously inflated price (as with all lomography society products), heavily supported by their hype.

As a fun, unusual camera it works well. The on board flash design is flawed because of it's position you will end up with a huge shadow cast across half your frame due to the lens, but perfect-imperfection in your photos is, after all, part of the lomography ethos.

I'd give this product five stars if it was half the price, which it really feels like it should be.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fisheye is all ways fun 16 Jun 2010
I take this little(ish) camera everywhere with me now

A few things that I have picked up on

1:When in doubt use the flash !
With constant aperture ( f8 I think )and fast shutter speed ( 1/100 ish ) I found that even if it looks bright indoors, you still might not get the results you thought. There are some other little bugs ( lens barrel means you cant really put it in a pocket , view finder is pointless , shutter button doesn't lock ) but there basically nothing because this camera is FUN!

This isn't a serious photographic tool and its not meant to be . It is a fun way the document life !
yes it is cheap plastic
yes it doesn't have loads of features
but if it had all the bells and whistles it would lose its charm .

So I say get one if your even a little bit curious and enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most fun you will ever have with a camera! 25 Jun 2012

The simplicity of this camera makes it the most fun you could possibly have with a camera, i have a 500 pound canon DSLR camera package and for some weird reason, in some circumstances i prefer using this! No settings to change or anything. One thing i wish i did was pay a bit extra and get a Fisheye 2 just because it has a multiple exposure button and bulb mode. But this camera is truly brilliant, great fun!
