Num8 has been designed especially for children aged 3 - 12 years. It is a watch that conceals GSM and GPS modules that enable you to locate your child at anytime with an accuracy of 3 metres. This can be done via either your mobile phone (SMS/Text) or the internet. The product is simple to set up and use and has a number of comforting safety features built in. After purchasing Num8 you will be required to register and activate it. Whilst setting this up you will tell Num8 the mobile phone number and email address that it will respond to. Num8 will only interact with these details. When Num8 receives a request to provide information it automatically checks the email address or phone number the request has come from. If it does not recognise the information it will not respond. Should Num8 be removed without your authority you will receive a priority alert to the designated mobile phone and email address. You can set pre-determined 'Safe Zones' for your child to play in and should they move out of this area you will receive a priority alert to inform you this has happened. You can perform the same action over the internet by logging in to the secure Lok8u Portal and using the 'Where r u' function, which will quckly render their current location on a Google map. You can also set 'Safe Zones' remotely using your mobile phone by texting 'Safexxx' (where xxx is the radius distance in metres from their current location) and Num8 will create a virtual safe zone immediately. You can check the location of your child at any time with your mobile phone by simply texting 'wru' to Num8. You will receive a text giving their current physical address including postcode with a link to Google maps showing their location (you will need a phone that can access the internet to receive the google map link). The watch is water resistant and shock proof and will allow your child the enjoyment of playing outside whilst providing you the comfort of knowing where they are.
