Format:VHS Tape
This is the pilot epsiode of the terrific TV series, in which Clark Kent, a farmboy blessed with incredible powers comes to the big city in search of a job. On his second attempt, Clark gets a job at the world famous newspaper 'The Daily Planet', where he meets and falls in love with a beautiful young reporter Lois Lane. Lois and Clark are partnered together (must to Lois' annoyance) to investigate sabotage on the space programme. Lois gradually begins to warm to Clark (but only very slightly), but all looks lost when a bomb is planted in a spacecraft with Lois aboard. Luckily however, Clark has decided to use his powers and so gets a disguise: 'Superman'. Lois immediately falls in love with Superman.

Format:VHS Tape
This video contains the original hour-and-a-half pilot episode of 'The New Adventures of Superman' (or 'Lois and Clark' as it was known in America). The producers breathe new life into the Superman image by introducing attractive young leads (Dean Cain as Clark / Superman and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane). John Shea plays Lex Luthor as a witty charmer with potential as a rival for Lois's affections, and the programme as a whole is enlivened by a hearty injection of irony. Despite achieving very mainstream popularity, this was intelligent television.

This VHS tape stinks. There is no sound no picture, total rip off! I do not understand how you can advertise a product that does not work! This was my first and last time buying online. Thanks Amazon.co.uk!
