I don't know if there is such a thing as Logitech fanboyism, but this would certainly be the device that does it to you. I bought the keyboard because i do a decent amount of long emails and first drafts. I was determined to turn the ipad into a production device, and the onscreen keyboard this just isn't possible. You start to feel crazy after typing a fair amount, because you have so little feedback! Now i can sit on the train and type with the keyboard in my lap. Its so comfortable that i've started using it everywhere i type.
The functions on the keyboard are basic, music controls, home screen button, search screen. There are ctrl, atl, and cmd keys; i don't know if any apps take advantage of these keys, but lets pray that an iOS update will one day allow for shortcuts via these keys.
And, while its not emphasized in reviews of this product, its bluetooth and thus usable on any computer you want; purchase a £5 dongle and you have one keyboard for all your machines. This is nice if you're particular to a certain keyboard's action. And this keyboard has nice action, very similar to an macbook keyboard.

I have been using it for over a month now and pretty satisfied with it. I was looking for a bluetooth keyboard using which I can do my scripting practice and I wanted something that would be fast. I didn't go for keyboards which are same length as the ipad as that might be convenient for storage but can no way match typing ease of this keyboard which is more like the size of laptop keyboard.
Below are the positives :
1. Good size keyboard for high speed typing/content-creation/scripting or what ever reason you might need it for.
2. Logitech creates quality products and this one is no different
3. Connecting it is really easy, ipad detects it automatically when you switch on Bluetooth on ipad and switch on the keyboard.
4. Its 10 pound cheaper on Amazon than the normal retail price.
5. It was shipped in very good/protective packaging.
The case becomes a stand as well , with two possible slope levels and you can use ipad in either direction 9 horizontal or vertical )
So far I am very happy with this product.

Excellent keyboard for ipad but shortcomings due to ipad's handling of keyboards

This is a must for everyone that start using the various "Office" compatible apps or is doing more than usual data entry.
Upon connecting, ipad's keyboard is not displayed on screen so the whole screen is available for editing.
Nice Things:
1. Moving around data entry fields with Tab
2. Having the arrows to move between text
3. Dedicated home key
What is missing (which is probably ipad's fault):
1. Cannot go to the buttons with the tab, have to press them on screen
2. Cannot go backwards or close a dialog (what an esc or ctrl-W would have done)
3. Cannot go to lists and traverse them with the arrows

Faulty item
I have now had two of these.
Both displayed the same fault there letters often stuck and repeated.
