Disappointing,

I bought this to replace a previous generation Logitech iPod Speaker product that was stolen but disappointingly this one isn't as good.
The previous unit was a little larger, heavier and generally had a more solid feel to it. The sound is pretty good, certainly not great, but like many of the other reviewers the auto-turn off "feature" is very annoying. Also when first switched on the volume isn't instant - it takes a second or two to "warm up". The soft, floppy case isn't as good as the previous stiffer plastic one. Overall does the job but I can't help but feel abit disappointed and wish I'd gone for a better quality product.

I bought this so I could listen to music and audio books in my studio so I don't have to cut myself off from the world wearing earphones. Love it to bits - looks good (white to match my Roberts radio), sounds good, doesn't take up too much space, easy to use with remote so you don't have to keep poking the Ipod and risk bending the connector, well designed travel case should I need it (although it's soft, not hard as in the photos) and charges my Nano at the same time. Not a bad price either. Can't fault it really.

This is a perfect piece of equipment to use with an i.pod, you can use it anywhere as the name states. Whether by mainline power or battery, and the Remote control makes it so easy to use. I would highly recommend the Logitech Pure Fi Anywhere 2. I chose the white model because it matches my i.pod. Yours Sincerely. MIKE WOOL.
