The mouse dimensions are approximately 10cm length x 6cm width. The mouse is gently domed with a high shine surface and at its highest point the height measures 3.8cm. This mouse has not caused me any strain even when used for long periods (fyi my hand length is 17cm and hand span 19cm). The cord is 174 cm and is way too long for my laptop, but I drop the excess cord down the back of the desk and when travelling use a velcro cord fastner to bind the excess cord. Though, Ive found the longer length useful for when I want to occasionally use it with a desktop. The tracking wheel and lower half of the mouse are rubberised giving it good grip and traction. I love the Logitech SetPoint software that allows this mouse to be customised (for the pc that the software is installed on). I surf alot and have found it really useful that I can tilt the tracking wheel left/right to quickly navigate back/forward between webpages. And it happens to looks great as well.

A great looking laser mouse with a classic symmetric shape. The rubber surface on the lower half provides better grip and generally feels good. The mouse wheel can be clicked sideways for horizontal scrolling, but there are other different functions you can assign to it in SetPoint which you get for free from Logitech's web site. The program lets you do quite a bit of customising.

Just bought a Windows 7 laptop and this mouse just worked immediately. A proper plug and play mouse that doesn't need a CD to load drivers, is comfortable to use, stylish with no awkward buttons in the wrong place. Had the option to download a driver with some small extra features which work fine. A long USB cable is useful although may get in the way if you use a laptop.

G5 users beware
The software needed to support the wheel and tilt functions of the mouse does not work on Apple G5 models. Seems to work on Intel macs. Read more
