Powerful Video Surveillance Software
Logitech Command Center software is included with every starter kit package. This software is easy to use, yet high-powered. Logitech Command Center is a Windows application for watching live action, searching the recorded video archive, and setting options.

When you install the software you determine how much space to allow the system to use for video storage and the software automatically manages the disk space by replacing the oldest video with new recordings. Playback View

Great system with true plug and play,

After a burglary in my house, I drastically improved the security around my property. Firstly, I got a dog, Bonnie, who is probably most effective in scaring away any trespassers around my house.I also installed a 4 camera security system. I have an older house and did not want to run any wires. This system is great because it is based on Powerline networking so you do not have to run any wiring in the house. Just installing the software on your laptop and plug in the camera. The system catches each movement around the house and saves it as little files on the PC. The software has a good user interface and is easy to use. On holidays, I enable the email alerts so in case of all cases, I will get an email when somebody enters the house. I have heard about several security solutions but I think this system is the easiest to install and the easiest to work with. I have now 3 outdoor and 1 indoor camera constantly monitoring my house, discretely but surely. The outdoor cameras are weatherproof and have now withstand the test of time pretty well. I can monitor my cameras from any internet PC or my HTC cell phone.

I bought this after spotting a shady character looking over my back fence. I have two cameras, one which points through a back window into the garden and one internal.Extremely easy to set up - simply install the software, connect a unit to the PC and plug the cameras into any power point. No other wires are required. Takes about 15 minutes. The cameras detect motion and then start recording video to your hard drive. I also pay about £50 (per annum) to have an online account which stores the videos remotely in case my PC get stolen (with the evidence). On detecting motion it can also fire off an email to several email addresses with a snapshot of what the camera spotted. Pretty handy if you carry a Blackberry, iPhone or other mobile device or simply want to be notified at the office. The video quality is actually very good. You can go back and quickly indentify times where the camera was set off and review the footage. I also use it to keep an eye on the kids when they are playing in the garden by themselves and I'm upstairs. The only issue is that external cameras are quite easily set off by wind, birds etc. This can be adjusted by reducing camera sensitivity - but there is a careful balance to ensure that the right activity is being detected. There will be false alarms from external cameras. All in all, an excellent security package that improves peace of mind.
