Just received this mouse today, and I have to say I'm impressed :)

It feels considerably nice but took a bit of time to get used to after using the Mionix Naos 8200. It has a slender design and rubber coating on both the thumb and ring/pinky-finger sides. The weight of it isn't bad, it's a very medium type of weight but isn't so light that it feels cheap or flimsy. The chord is like a rubbery type of plastic, it would have been nice of Logitech to have added a braided cable. The outer shell is this very smooth matte-black plastic which gets a little moist when your hand is sweaty. The scroll wheel... Well, it could be better; it's very sensitive and almost clunky and I would have liked it to be stiffer so you can at least feel the steps. It has a sniper/shift button where you can instantly lower your current CPI/DPI by holding it down (which goes from 200 - 4000) to make sniping or aiming a bit more accurate. The sensor is actually really smooth :) there's no sensor lag, which is a problem I have been having a few times with my Naos 8200, but this (so far) seems to be top notch for my liking. There are also lights on the palm and the CPI/DPI counter which has about 6 levels of changeable DPI/CPI in the software (which also you have to download through the Logitech site), which is always nice :) but, you can only turn the 'G' logo from solid to pulsating and you can either turn the CPI/DPI counter lights on or off, with no customizable colour options, which is a shame ;(

Overall (so far) the performance on this mouse is nice and the feel of it isn't to bad either, making the change from the Mionix Naos 8200 was weird going from the rubber coating, the finger rest on the side and the colour options. But this mouse is really nice, it fits my hand considerably well and is buttery smooth with the sensor tracking :)

(Please bear in mind that I have not had a gaming mouse previously so do not know how it compares to others.)
The shape, though it may not look it the mouse is very comfortable to use with rubberised material on sides where the mouse contacts with your thumb and ring finger/pinky, as far as I can tell with my smallish hands (18cm) it can be used in any type of grip comfortably.
The buttons, all of the buttons have a nice click to them though the DPI shift and the back and forward buttons have a small amount of give before they actuate, the main two buttons have a audible click to them with press and feel solid but a small problem that some people may have is that they may be to light in that if you apply too much pressure when resting your fingers on them they will actuate, the middle mouse click it much more difficult to click compared to the left and right and so have a louder sound and the click is much more noticeable. The mouse wheel's scrolling action is like any other it goes up and down a bit lightly but it works(ish).
The internals, as advertised there seems to be no hardware mouse acceleration, the "fusion engine" while I'm sure is functional is virtually meaningless as the speeds required for it to activate are way above what speeds normal people will achieve.

I came from having an old Logitech MX518 mouse.

Pros:
- It is the same size as the MX518 (quite large)
- It feels nice in general
- It comes with great software
- Custom DPIs & software changes behaviour of button (cycle through, next, previous, etc).

Cons:
- Loudest middle click the world has ever known
- The DPI switching button is in a horrible position if your hand is big. It's right at the top part of my thumb, meaning to avoid pressing this button continuously I had to change my mouse grip so my thumb is bent inwards, like a pinch grip. Took about 4 days getting used to.
- Two of the buttons, which are left of M1 to be pressed by the tip of your index, are absolutely useless. There is no more uncomfortable way than to press buttons, than to manoeuvre your index finger to the left. One of the buttons you could maybe push with some discomfort, the other index button is about half way up your index finger and takes very, very awkward manoeuvring, to the point where I don't use either of those buttons and they remain unassigned. Very disappointing, wasteful; bad design.

For me, this mouse is about as good as the MX518 though it promises way, way more. This mouse gives you the thumb DPI switcher (when you get used to it, it's functional)...but doesn't give me any more buttons for gaming than the MX518 due to bad design.

Quite a shame.

I've had this mouse for around a month now. For any serious gamers I'd like to add my seal of approval. I've been an FPS gamer for around 14 years (Quake/ET/UT/TF2/CS) and having the right tool for my accuracy requirements I have is a must. Logitech have done a fine job here in designing a mouse for low sensitivity/dpi fps gamers. The Gyro and accelerometer appear to continue the arm swipe perfectly when breaking the sensor limit. I have not noticed any acceleration or prediction in the sensor.
