Fun:
Bought this headset to play games as well as to listen to music sometimes. The surround sound performance in CoD MW2 is outstanding and the headset feels comfortable after hours of gaming even though I wear glasses. The 3 G-keys and the volume slider are very useful, you won't know how you lived without them!
A couple of negative points to note though - the click adjustment thingy for the length of L and R earcups do not click into place very solidly, so they might move away from your preferred setting when you take the headset off for example, which is a little annoying. Also the bass is not very strong by default, but you can adjust this through the software settings.
Overall a great buy - build quality, cable, etc. all feel very solid.

Over the past few years I've gone through so many headsets that I wish I had found this one sooner and saved myself the hassle. I have had all kinds of headsets from many brands, from Razer to unbranded cheap electronic store ones, so I've experienced a lot, but none come close to the G35.
It's money well spent, a great investment, still performing at 100% without a scratch in the same amount of time that I might have been through 3 pairs in the past. Not only is the sound quality and surround sound performance incredible, but the G35 durable and very comfortable too. It has everything you need in a headset. Also it's worth nothing that the microphone is of very high quality too. Never any static/feedback/background crap, crystal clear all the time.
I don't really use the customizable buttons day to day but the volume control is very handy and precise.
I would recommend this to anyone who values quality, it may be a bit expensive for a headset, or at least I thought it was before I got it, but it is well worth it. Top quality.

I bought myself a pair of these just over a year ago, and when I first got them I was truly impressed with the sound quality and the comfort level of the headset.
BUT:
Be aware that if you buy these you will have to treat them VERY carefully; they have a weak point on them which is the "barrel swivel" part on both sides (not clearly visible in the photos, but it's the 'line') where the headphones actually join onto the headband. It's a very thin and small piece of plastic which allows them to rotate, and if it takes a slight knock, it will shear off. I had to fix mine with Araldite glue after they gently rolled off the desk and onto my seat cushion... The other 'phone snapped off when it was being carried inside a bag (I glued it again... but glue only lasts for so long, and now it has eventually broken once again). They don't come with any protective casing to store them in, so make sure if you buy this product that you don't intend to travel with them, and have a safe place to store them when they aren't being used.
Personally, I am now going to buy a Razer Megalodon to replace my broken pair of these, as I wouldn't waste my money on a product that I KNOW has a defect and will most likely break again in a similar fashion. This headset could have been so much better, so simply, if a metal barrel swivel had been used instead of a cheap plastic one. I would have rated this product 5 stars, for the great sound quality and comfort, but it gets minus 3 stars for the flimsy design. I don't think that assuming a 'Logitech' product costing over £100 at time of purchase would last for more than a year is an unreasonable expectation.
