The headset was not one of the most expensive. Worked as soon as I plugged it in and Skype automatically configured itself to use the headset instead of the sound card. Sound quality excellent. Glad I bought it.

I am very happy with this product. My only regret is that I didn't invest more and purchase headsets with volume control, as the sound that comes out of these is a bit faint.

I use headsets every day of my life and have become very picky when it comes to a new one that I buy, this one rates average and not worth the price you will pay.
The good; nobody will complain about how you sound. The input is crystal clear and you can position the mic to a comfortable position over your mouth. The adjustable band is sturdy and the earpieces are very comfortable, even unnoticeable with pads that don't come loose easily.
While the headset possesses some very nice qualities the bad definitely will ensure I buy a different one next time. The incoming sound at max is on the verge of being too low. You can hear people talk, you can hear your music, game or movie but you always want that little bit more to reach a comfortable level. Sometimes you stress yourself just to try and hear something and to me that's not good enough.
If you want a microphone that's close to your face and doesn't allow much background noise, buy it. If you're like me and use headsets for incoming and outgoing, then pass on this one and try something else.

Surprisingly Good Sound Quality
I'd previously had problems with the more delicate Audio mini-jacks used on most wired headsets due to loose play at the male and female ends which can cause pops and crackles. Read more
