I've been wanting one of these for weeks to go with my PS3. In the end after struggling to justify the cost for occasional use on the PS3 I bought one anyway for my PC. I'm glad I did.
In the flesh it looks as good as the photos. It feels solid and you really know you are holding something of quality. Well, it's a Logitech. I've loved their stuff for years.
Anyway. I am using it currently on Windows Vista. I didn't even need to install it. I plugged in the supplied Blue-tooth USB dongle switched on the keyboard. It worked straight away. Didn't even have to pair it or press the connect buttons (on the keyboard and dongle).
Seriously, it would NOT look out of place on Star Trek. The orange lights are beautiful. They fade up and down tastefully. Even though I have a Logitech Laser mouse, I find myself using the pointing device on the keyboard. It is really useful.
The feel of the actual keys is great. I think my typing speed / accuracy has improved. They don't click but you get a tactile feel when you press them.
It is so easy to charge up. Just drop it into the charging base and it seems to locate itself very well. When you drop it into the base, all the lights come on then fade out to let you know you have made connection. While it's charging you get a little battery symbol flashing.
I am VERY pleased with it and think it's a great addition to my computer setup.

What can I say? This is truly one of those products that you get what you pay for! I purchased this keyboard and the MX Revolution mouse (aside from scrolling though pages and pages of documents) found I don't need the mouse! This is by far the best bang for your buck (it had better be for the price). Have been using it for 10 days on one charge. I love the fact you can use it in the recharging stand for quick web browsing sites and documents (Logitech has added a right click mouse button on the lower left side of the keyboard for two handed mouse navigation. You use your right hand on touch pad (which works better than the pads found on laptops) and left hand to click. The EDGE takes some time to get used to (like most electronic devices) but in the end it is well worth the investment. I have always used Logitech devices and have had no problems with anything. Customer support is 2nd to none! ie. product updates, help issues. Last but not least is the fact this keyboard is rechargable! No batteries to replace and the Bluetooth works great w/my PSP3! As far as not having a NUM pad...just buy one! I don't need one. (have a programmable game pad! So use your STIMULUS CHECK for something fun and really cool to look at...Get this keyboard you won't be sorry!
