I love this, so simple to use, as it says plug and play and the sound quality is awesome. I have bose speakers which i used to hook up to my laptop but things get complicated when you want to move so this was the perfect replacement, just pick up the speaker unit and move, don't get me wrong the sound quality isn't bose standard but its really good. This unit as a package is good my only gripe is that the usb storage could have been better as it doesn't fit with the ergonomics of the product all that well, aside from that the speaker unit offers easy controls and the fan is quiet enough to run whilst working or listening to music without been too distracting.
all in all this is a great product which i use everyday.

Got this from Amazon and have to say it's much better than I ever imagined. Considering only powered by USB ports the sound is good quality, not lacking in volume and has good tone. Easy install, XP/Vista finds and loads software as plug and play straight away.
Although there are controls for volume up/down and mute on the unit you can in fact still use any controls on your laptop also should you wish. Fan is quiet and surprisingly powerful. Even better, hidden in the settings that can be accessed via the computers control panel in Vista/XP/W7 are to be found seperate bass and treble controls so more tweaking of the sound is possible.
Oh yes, and as others have remarked, the fan is very quiet yet powerful considering only USB power source.
Highly recommended, transforms ordinary laptop sound and the design looks classy too.
In fact my son saw it, connected his own laptop to it and immediately ordered another for himself!!

I don't usually write reviews, but as soon as I got this, I knew I had to review it. I originally purchased a Belkin laptop cooler, which was just a fan, a rather noisy one. So I was a bit dissapointed after paying £25 for it. So i was hesitant in purchasing the Logitech N700, as I was worried about the sound of the fan.
Well I had nothing to worry about!!! Unlike the Belkin, this Logitech you can leave it plugged it and switch it off at a touch of a button; as well as this the fan is soooo quiet compared to the Belkin cooler, you really don't notice it being on!!
Now moving onto the speakers, wow!! These will improve the quality of your laptop sound loads, you can really notice the improved quality of music!!! As well as this, since the output is greater, the volume is a lot louder. And also the side buttons in controlling the volume are a great bonus.
Overall don't hesitate in buying this, it really is well made, and has made me a loyal fan of Logitech. Also even though it looks really bulky, it is really light!! As well as this, it really does sit on the lap sooo well, perfectly balanced. I don't usually use my laptop on my lap since it can be awkward, but this has made me change my ways!! It's on my lap as I type this review and have to praise Logitech for making such a brilliant piece of kit!! Planning to buy a couple more as gifts for family and friends, this really is worth the money.
