I had one of these for a couple of years before I sold it on eBay, and I must say it is far superior to the boxed remote that comes with the Squeezeboxes. The problem is that you can't type on them when searching, so if you have a large library you either have to scroll a lot, or search by name which involves using the scrollwheel to select one letter at a time, click, scroll, etc..
The screen is also very small, so although you can see what you're doing its still very small.
This might be a good solution for some, but with the advent of smart phones and tablets this device has become largely redundant.
There are some very good apps available for iPhone/iPad & Android phones and tablets (including one by Logitech which is not as good as some others), that allow you to control all of your squeezeboxes, so if you own one of those then don't bother with this remote.
