My Belkin wifi adapter doesn't work with Ubuntu 10.10 so I bought this LogicPro adapter to try and it works fine. There was no need to struggle with Windows drivers or ndiswrapper (which do not work at all with my Belkin adapter).

I have searched around looking for a wireless adapter for an old laptop which is running Ubuntu 10.4 without much luck until I came across this LogicPro one. I was sceptical about whether it would work, but was amazed when it worked straight out of the box without installing any drivers. Great delivery service too. I got the product within one day despite specifying standard delivery.

I use Ubuntu 10.4 on a Dell laptop and the WiFi broke, so I needed a new usb wireless adaptor. After much searching for Linux compatible devices, which are few and far between, I found this unit and it worked straight out of the box.
At first I tried to install the drivers on the disc supplied with it, I couldn't even get them to install because I'm not knowledgeable enough with Linux, so I plugged the device in the usb port and it worked.Brilliant!

After spending hours try to get the Tenda W322U USB Adapter to play nice with Ubuntu, I sent it back and bought this. It worked straight out of the box on both Ubuntu 11.04 and Windows 7 x64.

Verified Purchase
Having tried unsuccessfully on numerous occasions to kick-start the wireless card in my Acer laptop and stimulate the Ubuntu networking protocols I had given up and returned to the ethernet cable, don't get me wrong, it worked a treat but my router on my desktop is two rooms away so in the end I purchased one long enough to use as a washing line. It was ok for a few days but my family soon grew tired of it and it was only by accident I came across the Logic Pro wireless dongle for Linux and let me tell you this, in my opinion its the best thing since sliced bread. It came out of the box, fitted into the usb two dock and took about three seconds to connect to my network. I would definately reccomend this item for anyone having trouble with their built in wireless drivers whilst using Ubuntu; its great!

I had some trouble getting this product to work, I was hoping it would work straight out of the box, however it did not and kept loosing internet connection intermittently.

Made it work using NDISWRAPPER, which is utility on linux that uses windows drivers which are much more stable and can make hardware work with Linux. Since using that, works like a gem and hasn't given me any problems. Recommended, good value for money!
