Having read the reviews on the white version of this product, I was slightly nervous about purchasing it as I wanted to use it with a 2Gb iPod Nano. All my fears were unfounded - the Logic3 iStation comes with 8 separate adapters covering all possible iPods. They are easy to fit and the Nano slots snugly into place and looks safe and happy in between its new friends.
Talking of the speakers, they deliver a surprisingly clear and crisp sound with plenty of depth. It isn't HiFi quality sound or power but then you are only paying a fraction of the price that you would for genuine HiFi equipment. The 3D button does make a (small) difference but you may prefer not to use it - mine is usually switched on. In terms of volume it is planty loud enough for listening to in a largish room as background music but would perhaps not cope with a roomful of people all talking loudly. I certainly wouldn't look to use it for a full-on party but then that's not what I bought it for.
I have also listened to the more expensive Bose and Altec systems (£200 plus) and they are louder and perhaps slightly better in the quality department but for £40 you cannot go wrong with this product and certainly beats the other systems you can get for under £100.
A remote control would be nice but that's just me being lazy. Given that it works well, sounds and looks good and fulfils the purpose it was bought for, I can happily give it 5 stars.

The size of these little babies produces some very good sound which will go quite loud (room filling) without distortion. I bought these for office and holiday use, and they are more than up to the job for that. They are very light and therefore don't like loads of bass, though the little base speaker is a good addition, and together with the ipod look a neat little package. Can't see anything else as good as this for the price, though if you're looking at this as being your mainstay set of speakers for all your music I'd look at something a bit heavier and substantial.

I travel often for work and have to stay in hotels overnight. For this purpose, I wanted some cheap speakers for my iPOD and these ones do the job well. When I was opening the packaging I was a bit wary if they will do a good job as the speakers seemed rather small , but the volume does go up and is quite decent for a room , and for personal listening or for music in the background while you are doing your DIY or reading a book.
Easy to install and I got it all running within 2-3 minutes of opening it. Good buy, I wud say for 40 quid

Dont buy it
opened it up plugged it in and its useless , sound quality better out of ipod alone, big disappointment after reading reviews on amazon

Good base

Ideal unit for travelling..
This is ideal for a hotel room or camping when you want to listen to your tunes. It's not for baninging music out loud but it is more than good enough for normal listening. Read more

Didn't last very long
