The Logic3 i-Station8 for iPod is a feature packed device for docking & Sound, i-Station8 enables users to recharge, sync and listen to their iPod with one, stylish and ultra compact unit.

i-Station8 is fitted with with an unique and innovative Backlit Liquid Crystal Display to show track information and display commands when the Multi Function Remote Control is used.

The visibly powerful i-Station8 produces hi-fi quality sound from its combination of active sub-woofer with passive bass radiator and its eight neodymium full range speakers. Each of the i-Station8's speakers are powered and positioned to provide the broadest spectrum of audio clarity to reward the listener with the best stereo and frequency separation available.

The system also boasts the added convenience of an IR Multi Function Remote control, allowing users to command all the functions of i-Station8 and extended functions of the docked iPod wirelessly.

The i-Station8 isn't just about sound, included in its connectivity resume are S-Video and Composite video outputs which allows users to connected the i-Station8 to a T.V. for photo and video viewing (iPod dependant).

Connecting an iPod to the i-Station8 is easy, simply place iPod into the universal dock and you're set to go. The dock is compatible with all iPod's that have the 30pin dock connector. While your iPod is docked to the i-Station8 the iPod battery will automatically charge, so there's no need to worry about battery level, just enjoy the music. The unit can be powered either with the supplied AC mains adaptor or from four optional AA batteries, allowing you to use the device wherever you choose.

iPod can be synchronized through i-Station8 with PC or Mac. The i-Station8 can also be used as an external speaker system with other audio devices such as MP3's, MiniDisc, CD players or even a PC, laptop or Mac. i-Station8 is a truly multi-functional speaker/docking system with universal dock for iPod. It is a must have for any iPod owner.

I read a lot of reviews on this product before building up the courage to spend �79.99 on this product, and I've got to say that I'm very impressed, and i would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about buying it.

The best thing about this product, is that iconic white colour, only a mad man would buy this product in white for a Black iPod. The next feature is the surprising sound quality. I thought that the maximum volume would be limited and that the quality of sound produced wouldn't be as good as a hi-fi. I was soooo wrong. At half volume this portable beauty kicks out enough sound to get an old lady dancing and singing along to slipknot :P

I very good product that definitely deserves 5 stars.

I got this as a birthday present after asking for this particular one, knowing that it would be brilliant, and i was right! It may look big in the picture and it may seem big when you first get it and attach your ipod (i have a nano and it looks quite small in it) but it can get quite loud! When i first plugged it in people were asking me to turn it down and it wasn't even halfway! It looks brilliant and is a brilliant buy! This is something you don't want to ignore!

I ordered this particular set of ipod speakers because I needed something reasonably compact without compromising on the sound and did not want to spend over �100. It was a bonus that it came in white and would look more co-ordinated in the room it is intended for.

I have paired this with my ex-ipod; 4th generation 40G, to give the old ipod a useful function, and it sounds great, the remote is comprehensive, but the disappointment is the fact that my song names cannot be displayed, in the lovely backlighted blue display panel, with this ipod docked in it. Which is a waste of a function, in this case and hence a loss of a star.

Overall great sound and volume at an inexpensive price, but make sure your ipod is compatible for all the extended functions otherwise it may be a waste of money.
