Bought these speakers to go with the Ipod Touch 3rd Generation I bought my teenage daughter for Christmas and they're great for the price. You just insert the docking cradle that comes with the Ipod and your away. They are small and lightweight so really portable and the sound they produce is of good quality. They come with separate 2 pin and 3 pin plug attachments so you don't need other adapters if you want to take them on holiday and they also run off batteries. You can also use these speakers with other MP3 players as they come with a separate line-in wire. I was looking for a dock that gave a reasonable sound and charged the latest generation of iPod touch. This fulfils my criteria at a reasonable cost. However I have noticed that sometimes after I have disconnected the ipod from the dock I lose the sound from the Ipod speaker, which needs a reset to resolve. Its not too much of a problem, but a bit irritating. Apart from that I am very pleased with the unit.
