You may not recognise the traditional log cabin pattern when you see it made up, but this book will give you careful instructions on how to create the impressive looks seen in many art quilts. Not for the beginner - but opens up many ideas and options for a little more experienced quilter.

I agree with previous reviewer that this is not a book for beginners (and hence only four stars). But follow the instructions, and you will be able to create some stunning designs using foundation piecing technique. I couldn't wait to get started!
There are lots of illustrations showing how particular designs will work out and what different colour combinations will achieve. I think this book is great. Each time I go back to it I find new inspiration.
