Loctite's high performance super glue gives a strong bond in seconds on a wide variety of surfaces. Its ideal for bonding porcelain, china, pottery, costume jewellery, brass, aluminium, copper, repairs to rubber trim, toys, household appliances, leather handbags, belts, shoes wooden frames, handles, cork, card and most fabrics. It's not suitable for bonding plastics that are oily or waxy in appearance eg. polypropylene or polyethylene or very soft leather as it may may become hardened or discoloured. Take extra care when repairing items that hold hot liquids or that will be wet in service. Allow at least one hour before use and check the strength of bond. Test on a hidden area before use if in any doubt. Includes an instant adhesive brush for smooth and even application and a an anti-spill safety bottle.

I have used superglue for many years, especially in making model aircraft. While other manufacturers may offer different thicknesses, for most of the time this will do the job.

I bought this as I am a model builder, and nothing is better than superglue for that purpose.
Problem - the brush is next to useless. The bristles at the end are too short, and they splay in a very short time. The old brush type was far superior, and lasted a lot longer. I also noticed that the glue hardens quicker in this bottle than the previous incarnation.

This is really good to have ready to use for any problems. I have used it in the past on jewellery, shoes, ornaments etc. It lasts ages as it doesn't dry out and set like other glues. Only problem this time was brush was splayed at the end. No way anybody could tell this without opening container but it does make precise application more difficult. Nevertheless, I would certainly buy it again and would recommend it.

What do you expect?
It's Superglue - it sticks and has a brush - does what it is supposed to - job done! Would I buy it again - yes because I have done before.

What a load of rubbish! The only thing this is good for is gluing your fingers together cause it isn't bonding plastic or polystyrene! Read more
