If you were wondering what will fit in this 12litre Lock & Lock airtight box i'll give you an idea. You can fit Two Large sliced or unsliced Loafs in it.Tight fit? Yes! But thats the kind of space we are talking about. So thats Two 800 gram loafs.Keeps them fresher for longer,Around 5 days and as fresh as day one. Can't ask for more.Worthy of 5stars..Thanks Amazon.

Like many people of a certain age we have to holiday/travel with a large amount of tablets and medication. We have found this so useful for carrying about bottles, jars and tablets. All in one place. Brilliant.

This is one of a very few Lock&Lock products that has a recessed carry handle in the lid. The box is of a size (more than 12-inches in length and about 9.5 high and wide) that it could potentially be very heavy if well-filled and it really is too large to be lifted from a shelf or a cupboard by any other means. The handle is absolutely essential for safe lifting.

Although the box is too large to be used for storage of everyday food ingredients, it could be used for 1 or two standard loaves or bread, several bread rolls, cakes or pastries. As the box is freezer-safe, it may also be used to hold a chicken or packaged meat for ease of storage in a chest freezer - it is too tall for most drawer freezers.

Although most of Lock&Lock's containers use two locking mechanisms on each longer side (the very smallest may be limited to a single one for practical reasons), this has the space on its longer sides for a third mechanism. With all mechanisms properly engaged, the container will be 100% air- and water-tight. That is the strength of the brand.

Lock&Lock remains the brand to which I first look when seeking any storage container.

Probably bought about 40-50 of Lock & Lock.
We use them for food, dried dog food, dog biscuits, cheese, bacon etc.
I use them for paint, less messy than a tin, airtight, and available in lots of different sizes.
This size I have used for cement and plaster, opening a new bag for small jobs is very wasteful,
I use this to store the cement for a few weeks and it keeps OK.

As the others have said it is built to last and worth every penny. I would just mention that when I measured the height of my cupboard shelf I had just 4 mm to spare, but took a chance on it, and it is quite a tight fit. It makes good use of my space and I pack it full of dry goods like nuts and grains to keep them dry. The only thing is that when you fully use the space inside, it becomes quite heavy for getting down off the shelf, and obviously you have to get it down every time you want anything from it. I am going to try an 8 or 9 Ltr next time. This size is the best value per litre though.

Bought option for a dry box with a couple of silica cans and so far so good. A bit on the expensive side but it keeps the camera lens fresh and juicy like the day it was picked ;) (free from moisture that is)

That noisy handle is ridiculous... For what I bought it for...

Strongly recommend it for a dry box.

Bought to use as washing powder storage ,very handy as it keeps the powder dry and stops it going hard.
