I do like my homecooked meals at work which can be problematic as soon as I have something with gravy or soup because many containers that I used to have were not even NOT airtight, but leaked. I stumbled across lock and lock in a supermarket, and brought one of them to try out. What can I say ? Eversince I brought this, I have had a proper clearing in the kitchen/household, and replaced all my containers with the lock and lock ones. I do not regret it as they are simple to use, perfect for storing items(cheese or sliced meats) in the fridge as they stack up perfectly, they dont take on any colour of spiced food and are easy to clean. A clear advantage is that you can use them in a microwave as well as put them in a dishwasher. Great and well worth the money.

It's difficult to write a meaningful review of a small plastic box but let me reassure you, they do exactly as it says on the lid. Yes, they lock and lock. And they lock very securely and they certainly help keep food fresh. I'm particularly impressed at how well they keep cheese from going mouldy.
Beware , however, of the new non-staining version which I bought from another supplier. They're exactly the same shapes and sizes and they function the same way but they're harder and they're annoyingly fragile. Also, the lids don't seem to fit so well so keep to the regular model.

These are perfectly airtight as advertised.

Just be careful with them: when reheating food in the microwave, even with the lid unlocked as instructed, steam will condense on the lid and raise the temperature of the plastic far above 100 degrees, causing it to warp. After that it still seems to seal (maybe), but you will have a wonky lid.

In the freezer, similarly do not lock the lid! As the air cools it will suck the lid inward, and again you have a wonky lid.

I reckon freezing and reheating also can't be good for the rubber seal on the lid.

Rather, just use it in the fridge, and pour the food into a bowl or plate for reheating.

Multiple uses - I bought these to use in my workshop for storing metal toolbits and the like to keep them free from dirt and damp. Just the job! The four locks keep the lid very secure, the see-through container enables the contents to be readily identified, and they are robust enough to withstand some (inevitable) abuse in the workshop. However my Missus spotted them and promptly pinched a couple for her kitchen, so now I'll have to buy some more. I did think they were a bit pricey at first but having looked at flimsier makes i think these are reasonable value for money. Overall, I am well pleased with the buy.

I always check reviews first and this rated highly and rightly so...this is the perfect size for my lunch and as I'm on slimmers world and my lunch consists of potatoes and beans every day this leak-proof box is perfect!
It has absorbed some colour which is a little disappointing but I'm going to bicard of soda soak it every few weeks which definitely helps. A great buy for the price.

I bought this for a friend in need but she wanted a cylindrical version not a cuboid. However when given as a gift elsewhere it was met with shrieks of joy combined with utterances of, 'Where can I hide it so John doesn't take it! Ooh! I suppose he can use it too, he has already got one for work..... These are absolutely brilliant! You can put them in the microwave and the dishwasher......' Rarely have my gifts been so well received!!!!!!!!!!! I still need to source the mug like version.....

Says microwavable but lid warped badly in microwave - still usable but clearly the lid shouldn't be in the microwave.
