By Richard Murphy VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover
Having read and loved the first book (see my review - still highly recommended) this book was a serious disappointment. There are some funny cartoons here but far too few - it just feels like there was a publishing deadline to meet and the quality test was not applied.

Worse is that this is not a book to go through with small children, as the first one was - some of the jokes are adult in nature and really not appropriate.

oh what fun i have telling these to my children and their friends and my friends children and random children in the supermarket! i still have them searching for the invisible 5th side to a square from the first book and naming every ant they see. much more fun than monopoly!

Could do better 15 Jan 2007

Nowhere near as funny as Great Lies to Tell Small Kids which is a favourite of mine.

This one took me several attempts to actually get to the end, and I didn't laugh once.

Great book - not quite as good as the first
This book is funny, but personally I don't think it's quite as humourous as the first one. My friends (who have not seen the first book) thought it was great, though.

Possibly the greatest work ever published
Some of the jokes are not aimed at children (my youngest still disapproves of the one where the tweenies go out in a gun battle) but I loved it. Read more
