Seems to be a decent light, doesn't come with a bulb so remember to order one. Basic but does the job :) i would recommend to anyone on a budget

States E27 standard bulb, but arrives requiring a small golf bulb. I bought this for the sole reason that it takes an E27 bulb. This takes a golf bulb, which are becoming increasingly rare to find, and are much smaller, they also don't put out as much light. I now have to work in semi-dark, buy something else, throw this away, and wait up for the postman for it to arrive (I work night shifts, so it's a hassle). Complete waste of time and money.

For the price this is an excellent lamp, it sits on my bedroom computer desk and the big advantage over previous lamps is that the bulb is of a more standard and readily available type (one doesn't come with it so you need to order it separately) and the on/off switch is on the base as opposed to on the lead which used to fall behind the desk.
The head is flexible and should cover all angles that you require, it does get hot over a period of time (30mins) so you wouldn't want to move it around much without gloves or something so best to get the angle you want when you first switch on.
