Fantastic lamp, Very well made.. no crappy plastic to break!! Lamp shade does get very hot but there again it is an halogen bulb so that's to be expected. adjusts with no problems All in all A must have desk lamp that will last years.

This Lamp is very VERY high quality, solid brushed metal with a decent solid weighty base. It gives off ample light for those of us with poor eyesight.
It comes complete with one GU 35w Bulb but I also ordered the extra pack of ten bulbs for the bargain price of around £7. It will last a lifetime if taken care of. I am glad it came up in my recommendations. It is fully ajustable..Versatile Head Tilt with Swivel neck and arms... Swivel, tilt, stretch etc.
Warning.. In the instruction manual it says to keep it at least 0.3 Meters away from other furnishings... e.g Curtains I presume as it can get fairly hot with it using a Halogen bulb. But it only uses a 3 Amp fuse in the fitted plug with an in-line rocker on/off switch so It's safe as houses. Came well packed in its box. Easy peasy to put together. Just slot the Lamp into the base and tighten the retaining screw, insert bulb and.. Let there be light !
I give this Lamp 10 out of tem points... for both fuctionality and asthetically is pleasing to look at... It's kinda retro but with a contemporary modern edge to it and is much nicer than in the picture.

why does it have rust on it?

Arrived broken, nightmare to change it
