Brough this deep fat fryer 3 weeks ago. I was looking for a family size fryer and all I could find were fryers with small baskets which meant cooking twice for a family of four, but this fryer has a good size basket and will cook enough chips for four people. The fryer looks like cheap plastic but it does the job, the chips are great and well worth the money in my book.Lloytron 2.5 Litre Deep Fat Fryer Black with Silver Trim (E863BK)

this fryer cooks plenty for a family of six, the down side is that the filter lets out a very strong smell of chip oil, i have changed the filter for a stronger charcoal one but it still lets out too much

I just used my new deep fryer for the first time and found the lid would not stay closed when cooking. It just continued to pop open, not even able to click in place due to the heat. Not an ideal cooking situation. Contacted the seller, requesting a replacement, but have yet to even have the email acknowledged. On second thought, I might be better off requesting a refund instead...
