How to use:
This blood pressure monitor is simple and couldn't be any easier to use in your home all you need to do is place the monitor on your wrist, place your arm on the wrist support case ensuring the cuff is level with your heart, inflate the cuff by pressing the start button then simply relax and wait for the results.

This item is no good at all - I was worried about the readings my wrist monitor were showing, so I made an appointment with my Dr, At this apponitnment I used the wrist blood pressure monitor on one arm while my Dr used his blood pressure monitor on my other arm - the reading differences where vast!!!

I am a registered nurse but also 37 weeks pregnant and suffer from blood pressure problems which have been exacerbated by teh pregnancy. I thought I would keep an eye on my BP just to get a rough idea what I was running at when feeling unwell.
I really should have saved myself the worry! I ended up at the hospital after several readings when feeling ill wondering if I had pre-eclampsia!
Luckily to say I didn't but I felt a bit of an idiot in front of my peers when my blood pressure was a little raised but not to the point that the monitor was coming out at. It was nearly 70mmhg out on the readings!!!
I only bought it as it was difficult to perform a manual BP on myself.
Please, please do not waste your money.
Lloyds customer service very good and they refunded me straightaway but just get your GP/nurse/HCSW to monitor.

My blood pressure normally runs a little high and I was advised by my GP to monitor it regularly. After 1 week using this device I was so alarmed by the high readings that I booked an emergency appointment with my GP to show him the readings. I showed him my results, and used the machine in his presence, to ensure I was using it correctly. My GP also tried the device on himself, and we then did readings on 2 separate blood pressure machines belonging to the practice. The results show that the machine was overreading by more than 50%, and is clearly not fit for purpose.

Cheap and easily to use. However not very acurate. I ended up having to buy a machine that measured from my arm not my wrist.

bp monitor
seems ok but needs to be fitted on the wrist about one and a half inches from where your thumb joins the arm,may be differant for other people did check it against a nhs machine... Read more

Works well - once I learned that there is wrong way round!
