I came across this book last week at a friend's house, she had got it in America where the author lives and I can't quite understand why it isn't a complete hit here. I came straight home and ordered it from Amazon and have now ordered 2 other books from the Llama Llama series.
What makes it so good? Firstly the illustrations are wonderful, the concept is a baby llama at the toddler tantrum stage and his mama and the expressions on their faces are hilarious, so true to life. I turned one page and laughed out loud.
My son is 18 months old and it's his new favourite book, I should think 18 months to 4 or so might be the best age group for this book.
If you are bored of The Gruffalo and want something else, would strongly recommend this book.
