Liza Randall decided to write her first book, Pilates for Equestrians after training to be a Pilates coach following a showjumping accident. Her recovery from a badly broken back included months of physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and Pilates.
Over the years she adapted many of the exercises to be functional to riders to improve balance and stability in the saddle, thus inspiring better rider confidence and safety in the saddle.
Liza runs Pilates clinics teaching riders of all abilites and equestrian athletes competing internationally, as well as continuing her writing career.
Liza's new book, Eventing Explained, is out in 2012.
